Best for: a store, small importer or wholesale buyer with a product photo, link or rough idea who needs relevant options without spending weeks comparing inconsistent replies.
What counts as a “small goods” wholesale brief?
Small goods are usually compact consumer products with a repeatable use, relatively low unit cost and meaningful MOQ or packing constraints. The categories below are starting points, not claims about current inventory.
Regulated products, electrical safety, food-contact requirements, licensed characters and destination-market compliance need specialist confirmation. Say where the goods will be sold so those questions are visible early.
Send five facts. Get a more useful answer.
- Product reference. A product photo, marketplace link, sample photo or close equivalent.
- Target quantity. First order and expected repeat order, even if both are approximate.
- Destination. Country, sales channel and any packaging, label or language requirement.
- Commercial target. Target unit price, maximum MOQ and required delivery window.
- Next decision. Supplier options, samples, private label, a factory check or an inspection plan.
What is compared — not just the quoted unit price
| Wholesale factor | What the buyer needs to see |
|---|---|
| MOQ | Minimum per model, colour, size or pack; whether a smaller trial order is genuinely possible. |
| Tiered price | Unit cost at the first quantity and at the expected repeat quantity, with quote validity. |
| Sample terms | Sample cost, lead time, shipping method and whether the sample charge is credited later. |
| Product fit | Material, dimensions, finish, function and reference evidence — not a generic catalogue photo alone. |
| Packaging | Polybag, box, carton quantity, barcode, label, inserts and the cost of any change. |
| Timing | Sample and production lead time, Chinese holiday risk and the date the supplier is actually committing to. |
| Supplier type | Factory, trader or mixed model, contact consistency and any claims that should be checked before a deposit. |

What the $55 starting scope can include
- A practical brief built from your photo, link, target quantity and destination
- A shortlist of relevant supplier options based on the agreed product and buying route
- Initial supplier questions about MOQ, tiered price, samples, packaging and timing
- A like-for-like comparison of the replies you can actually use
- Clarification of mismatches, missing evidence and questions to resolve next
- A written recommendation: request samples, verify the factory, inspect, revise the brief or stop
The number of suppliers, product variants and research depth are agreed before chargeable work begins. More complex requirements receive one fixed project quote.
Clear limits
No false inventory claim. I do not claim to own a factory, warehouse or stock, and I do not sell goods from a hidden catalogue.
No all-in “landed cost” promise. Product quotes, samples, inspection, logistics, duties and destination compliance are separate unless a written scope says otherwise.
No guarantee of zero risk. Sourcing and verification provide better evidence and clearer questions. They do not guarantee supplier conduct, product compliance or defect-free production.
Wholesale sourcing plus the checks that follow
| Stage | Published starting point | Decision it supports |
|---|---|---|
| Find and compare wholesale options | $55 sourcing | Which supplier replies deserve a sample or deeper check? |
| Remote supplier / factory verification | $45 supplier check | Is the company, contact and factory claim credible enough to continue? |
| On-site factory check | $150/day + travel | Do the location, equipment, production status and explanations hold up in person? |
| Pre-shipment inspection | $120 inspection | Are the goods, quantity and packaging acceptable before final payment? |
A simple route from photo to sample
- Send the reference. Share a product photo or link, quantity, destination and date.
- Confirm the brief. We agree the comparison criteria, number of options and reporting format.
- Compare real terms. Review MOQ, price tiers, samples, packaging and lead time side by side.
- Choose the next evidence. Request a sample, verify the supplier, plan a factory check or stop.
Wholesale sourcing questions
Can you source a mixed wholesale order?
A mixed order can be discussed, but many suppliers apply a minimum per model, colour or pack. The practical approach is to confirm the real MOQ and compare a smaller trial order against the later repeat quantity.
Do you have a warehouse or stock in China?
No. This is a sourcing, comparison and coordination service. I do not claim to own a factory, warehouse or inventory. Any warehouse, consolidation, inspection or logistics cost is quoted separately.
Can you get private-label or custom packaging quotes?
Yes, the brief can include logo, label, packaging, barcode and carton requirements. Whether a specific supplier can meet them, what MOQ applies and whether compliance testing is needed must be confirmed with evidence.
Is international shipping included?
No. The starting price covers the agreed sourcing work, not freight, duties, taxes, samples, testing or inspection. Those third-party costs should be separated and explained.
What if I already have supplier quotes?
Send the quotes and the product reference. The work can focus on making the offers comparable, exposing missing terms and showing which questions matter before you pay a sample or deposit.
