China pre-shipment inspection checklist.

Use this finished-goods checklist to define what should be reviewed before the balance is paid and the shipment is released.

Quantity Workmanship Function Packaging Evidence

Use this with your supplier: the checklist should reflect your approved sample, specification, destination market, and order risk. It does not replace laboratory testing, compliance certification, or the supplier’s product liability.

1. Lock the inspection brief

An inspection is only as useful as the standard behind it. Confirm these points before the visit.

2. Verify quantity and product identity

3. Inspect workmanship and function

4. Check packaging and shipping readiness

5. Capture usable evidence

6. Choose the next action

Use the findings to make a specific commercial decision, not to create a false promise of zero defects.

APPROVEThe agreed critical criteria pass and remaining minor issues are understood and acceptable.
CORRECT / HOLDA material issue needs action, evidence, or a commercial agreement before payment or shipment.
RE-INSPECTThe correction is material enough that a further agreed check is needed before release.

Book early enough to act: an inspection report is most valuable while the supplier can still correct the order and before shipping dates become expensive.

Production ready? Make the next payment decision clearer.

Send the product, SKU count, quantity, factory location, production stage, and required inspection date.
